As members are aware, due to the circumstances brought about by Covid-19 our club had to postpone previous arrangements for the 2020 AGM. However, the Covid-19 restrictions previously in place have now been somewhat relaxed. As such, the Board of Management has decided to hold the 2020 AGM on Sunday 13 September 2020 at the Para Hills Bowling Club commencing at 11 am.
Two Board of Management positions that become vacant in 2020 will need to be filled at the 2020 AGM. Namely, those of President and Treasurer, both for a two year term. Also, two Bowls Coordinator positions, each for a one year term. Any members wishing to make application for any of these positions are required to meet with the Club Secretary to obtain and complete the necessary application documentation.
Further, due to changes in club and bowls conditions, an amended version of the Club’s Constitution and By-Laws have been produced. The amended versions are required to be approved (or otherwise) by members at the AGM. A hard copy of these documents are available at the club for members to view prior to the AGM. The hard copies can be obtained from the Club Secretary. Additionally a hard copy of the Club’s Strategic Business Plan for 2020/2023 is also available for members to view. Please provide any suggested further amendments to any of these documents to the Club Secretary for the Board of Management to consider.
After the AGM there will be a sausage sizzle and the bar will be open for business. All financial members are encouraged to attend.
